Job summary
The post holder will join the RTT (Referral to Treatment) Validation Team within the Patient Administration Contact Centre, supporting a range of administrative and patient pathway activities.
We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals with experience in RTT validation, patient pathway tracking, waiting list management and elective pathway standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of NHS RTT rules, consultant-led pathways, clock starts and stops, and validation processes. You will help ensure the accuracy of RTT data, identify and resolve pathway discrepancies, validate patient journeys and support the Trust's elective access standards.
Experience of PTLs, PAS systems, data quality processes and managing complex patient pathways is essential, alongside strong analytical, organisational and communication skills and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
You must already have the right to work in the United Kingdom or fully meet the eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. Key requirements include:
Strong working knowledge of RTT rules, admitted pathways, and Patient Tracking Lists (PTL) Experience of bookings admitted and NON Admitted Experience of systems, ERS , Cerner , PTL Validation Tool Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively, including inboxes and competing tasks Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with clinicians and services A proactive approach to identifying and resolving pathway risks and potential breaches This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, patient-focused, and committed to supporting high-quality patient care through effective pathway management.
