Vacancy for a 6 Session Salaried GP
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Are you a newly qualified GP, a locum looking for longer term job security or an experienced GP looking for a change? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a salaried GP to join a forward thinking and supportive practice.
Our core practice serves a broad patient population from Hinckley, Burbage and the surrounding villages. We also run a dispensing - branch surgery in the more rural village location of Stoke Golding. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly, patient centred service from both sites.
Main duties of the job
We are a friendly, positive and motivated team who put patient care at the heart of everything we do and pride ourselves on having excellent clinical and communication skills.
Our unique practice actively encourages development and is very supportive of any professional endeavours or career aspirations. We offer a mentorship to a GP who may be more recently qualified.

Job description Job responsibilities
What we are looking for:
6 clinical sessions
1 day a week of duty doctor/on call, with on the day appointments available with ANPs and GPs.
A mix of acute same day appointments and follow up clinics.
About the practice:
We are a practice of 4 partners, 4 salaried GPs and 1 retainer GP.
Our patient population is 11,000+ patients.
Good CQC report - recently visited in July 2026.
Our larger surgery is based in Hinckley which serves a diverse population, alongside a small sister surgery in the more rural quaint village location of Stoke Golding, which has a dispensary.
We also have 2 experienced practice nurses, 1 ANP, 1 ACP, 1 paramedic practitioner and 2 pharmacists.
We hold a GMS contract and have a high QOF achievement annually.
Enhanced Diabetes.
We use Systmone clinical system.
We enjoy teaching and training and pride ourselves on establishing the Hinckley and Bosworth Medical Academy, which alongside 5 other local GP surgeries; we welcome new medical students every 12 weeks.
We also have GP Residents and a number of GP educational supervisors supporting training.
Established engagement with our local PCN and Federation with one GP partner at our surgery acting as our PCN clinical director.
