Main duties of the job The Registered Nurse - Bank position at Avery Healthcare in Chorleywood involves acting as a person in charge, replacing the Manager when needed, and consistently maintaining high standards of care for residents. ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asa Registered Nursewill beto act as person in charge,standingin for the Manager asrequiredandobserveall instructions to act upon his/her behalfwhilst youensurehigh standardsof care toourresidents.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Undertakingnursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions. Advisingfamilies of residents andGPsof any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care. Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration. Demonstrate a minimum 2 years experience and up to date knowledge of care,supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification. Qualifications Essential
Our ideal candidate must hold a First Level qualification and have current NMC Registration. They should demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience with up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies or qualifications. The candidate should display good interpersonal skills, the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities, and having a sound knowledge of care planning and its application is essential.
