Job summary
ASubject Access Clerk works within an NHS Health Records or Information Governance team to process requests from individuals and authorised third parties who are seeking access to medical records under Data Protection legislation (DPA 2018, GDPR, Access to Health Records Act 1990).
Main duties of the job
Supplying and completing Subject Access requests to patients, solicitors, police and other health care providers.

Knowledge of SAR's NHS Constitution Trust vision, values and strategic objectives Knowledge of access to health records under the Data Protection Act 1998, Access to Health Records Act 1990 and Freedom of Information Act 2000.
