We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse for our Staffing Bank here at Spire Bushey Hospital in the Pre Assessment department. This role would suit candidates who are looking for a work/life balance and are very flexible.

Main duties of the job
As a Pre-Assessment Nurse, you'll help ensure patients are clinically prepared and fully informed ahead of their procedure.
Conducting comprehensive pre-operative assessments Triaging and assessing patients to ensure suitability for surgery Identifying and escalating potential clinical concerns Supporting safe, personalised patient care throughout the surgical pathway Providing clear information and reassurance to patients and families Working collaboratively with consultants, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams Contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Current NMC registration with no restrictions on practice Previous experience within a Pre-Assessment setting Private Hospital or NHS hospital Phlebotomy, venepuncture and ECG competency Pre-Operative Assessment Association qualification or training Acute healthcare experience Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Confidence working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Good IT and electronic patient record skills
Working Hours:08:00-18:00- Mondays - Fridays
