Job summary
Windmill Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team. Initially, this position is being offered as a fixed-term maternity cover role however, there is the potential for the post to become permanent for the right candidate, subject to practice requirements.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a GP who shares our commitment to providing safe, effective and compassionate care to our patients. The successful candidate will:
Undertake routine GP consultations and clinical assessments.
Provide high-quality patient-centred care. Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, physician associates and the wider practice team. Manage a varied clinical workload. Contribute to maintaining high standards of clinical governance and patient safety. We operate a total triage appointment system.
About us
We have 6 sessions available working alongside our team of 2 partners, 3 salaried GPs, PAs and nursing staff, supported by our friendly and efficient administrative team.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
- Experience of NHS General Practice. - Experience of using electronic clinical patient records - Experience of medicines management - Experience of QOF and clinical audit - Experience of working in a Primary Care environment
