Key Responsibilities Role Overview The Manufacturing Engineer will actively participate in process planning, NX CAM programming, should-costing, and other manufacturing engineering activities for aerospace components. The role requires strong expertise in multi-axis machining, process optimization, and also responsible for developing detailed cost models to estimate the “should cost” of mechanical products, components. Key Responsibilities · Read and understand the Aerospace components Engineering and Stage drawings. · Create Manufacturing process 3D models using Siemens NX12. · Generate multi axis CNC programs using NX12 and above. · Define the optimized manufacturing process. · Develop and maintain should-cost models for components, assemblies, and products · Analyze materials, manufacturing processes, labor, overhead, and supply chain costs · Evaluate design proposals to determine which one best meets cost requirement. · Understand all GD&T symbols and should be able to apply for manufacturing process and their applications. · Selection of Cutting tools, CNC Machines and Advanced Holding Fixtures for manufacturing. · Conduct cost analyses proposals to determine whether the proposed solution is feasible or whether modifications should be made. · Identify cost reduction opportunities · Review supplier quotations and validate pricing against internal cost models Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in engineering. · 4–7+ years of experience in cost engineering, manufacturing, or procurement Preferred Qualifications & Key Skills · Hands-on experience on generating 3D models & multi axis CNC programs using NX12 and above. · Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing · Knowledge on manufacturing Process such as conventional and non-Conventional machining. · Communication & presentation skills We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day.
