Job Requirements A Day in the Life of a LPN

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individual patient care within the scope of their training and experience.

Desired Skills: • Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology • Demonstrates an independent work initiative, sound judgment and attention to detail • Ability to interact respectfully with diverse cultural and socio-economic populations Here is What You Need: • License (must meet one of the following): • Current Wyoming Practical Nurse (PN) License from the Wyoming State Board of Nursing • Current enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC) • 14 Days: Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within fourteen (14) calendar days of start date Nice to Have: • Prior acute care experience • IV Certification About Cheyenne Regional: Cheyenne Regional Medical Center was founded in 1867 as a tent hospital by the Union Pacific Railroad to treat workers injured while building the transcontinental railroad.
