About this role

Production Operator Job DescriptionThis role operates production machinery in a clean room cell assembly department, supporting continuous manufacturing across multiple shift options. You will primarily run equipment, handle materials, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production while working within a highly organized, temperature-controlled environment.Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in the cell assembly department according to established procedures and safety standards. • Perform standard machine operating tasks, including starting, stopping, monitoring, and adjusting equipment as needed. • Handle packaging tasks such as preparing, filling, and securing products or components for further processing or shipment. • Move parts, components, and boxes throughout the plant to support production flow and maintain continuous operations. • Follow clean room protocols, including proper gowning and use of required protective equipment, to maintain a controlled environment. • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in line with 5S3K principles and facility guidelines. • Monitor production output for quality and consistency, and promptly report issues or irregularities to the appropriate personnel. • Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and reliable production. • Collaborate with team members and other departments to support smooth shift handoffs and efficient workflow. • Walk between buildings and different areas of the plant as needed to carry out daily tasks and support operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, machine operation, or general labor roles. • Familiarity with 5S or other workplace organization and cleanliness practices. • Ability to adapt to different shift structures, including rotating schedules and fixed first or second shifts. • Strong attention to detail and reliability in a structured manufacturing environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
