Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionThe Mechanical Assembler works in a dedicated mechanical assembly area, building large structures and frames from extruded aluminum components. This role involves reading blueprints and metric measurements, using hand and power tools, and assembling large mechanical frames such as conveyor line structures with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.Responsibilities

• Assemble large structures and frames made from extruded aluminum parts, including conveyor line frames, at various workstations in the mechanical assembly area. • Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate assembly of components. • Measure parts and layouts using metric measurements and tape measures to verify dimensions and alignment. • Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen keys, and similar tools to assemble components, similar to furniture assembly on a larger industrial scale. • Operate appropriate hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete large mechanical assemblies. • Lift, move, and maneuver larger parts and components into position in preparation for assembly, including laying out parts for builds. • Inspect assembled structures to ensure they meet quality standards and are built properly according to specifications. • Maintain a strong attention to detail throughout the assembly process to avoid errors and ensure consistent quality. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with tools, equipment, and large components. • Work collaboratively with team members in the assembly area to meet production goals and deadlines. Essential Skills

• Demonstrated experience with mechanical assembly of large structures or frames. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or mechanical drawings accurately. • Proficiency using hand tools such as screwdrivers and Allen keys for assembly tasks. • Experience using hand and power tools in a mechanical or assembly environment. • Ability to read and take measurements in metric units using tape measures and related tools. • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset to ensure structures are built correctly. • Ability to lift and maneuver parts and components weighing up to 50 lbs. • Capability to work at multiple workstations within a mechanical assembly area. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in large mechanical assembly or similar industrial assembly work. • Comfort working with extruded aluminum components and conveyor line frames. • Strong commitment to safety practices in a mechanical assembly environment. • Reliability and consistency in attendance, including willingness to support occasional overtime. Standard hours run from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the potential for 4–5 hours of overtime on Saturdays as needed. The facility is heated but does not have air conditioning, so temperatures may vary seasonally. The work involves standing, lifting, and moving larger mechanical components, and regular use of hand and power tools at multiple workstations within the assembly area. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MONTGOMERYVLE, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
