Job Title: Mill MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mill Machinist to join our team on the second shift from 2:30 pm to 1 am, Monday through Thursday. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring precision in machining processes.Responsibilities
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines for various machining processes. • Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to determine machining requirements. • Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to ensure accuracy of machined parts. • Set up and operate Bridgeport type mills. • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues. • Cut, shape, and form metal parts using manual drill press, lathes, power saws, snips, files, sand blasters, surface grinders, and mallets. • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Essential Skills
• 4+ years of experience in machining. • Proficiency in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery. • Ability to use precision hand tools such as calipers and micrometers. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with Bridgeport, Mastercam, Haas, and manual machining. • Comfortable with training on first shift for 6 months to 1 year.
