About this role

Job Title: ArchitectJob DescriptionThis role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of architectural projects across all phases of the design process, from early marketing and conceptual design through construction documentation and construction administration. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and consultants while helping deliver high-quality commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects across multiple states. Responsibilities • Support marketing efforts by preparing preliminary design concepts and participating in request for proposal (RFP) presentations. • Develop schematic design solutions that respond to client needs, project constraints, and design standards. • Create architectural renderings that effectively communicate design intent to clients and project stakeholders. • Communicate regularly with clients to understand project requirements, present design options, and incorporate feedback. • Coordinate design and documentation with engineers and other consultants to ensure fully integrated project delivery. • Develop and produce detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details. • Assist with permitting processes and submissions to regulatory agencies to secure required approvals. • Participate in construction administration activities, including communication with contractors, review of submittals, and support during construction. Essential Skills • Professional experience in architecture with involvement across multiple phases of the design and construction process. • Proficiency in Revit (required) for design, documentation, and coordination. • Strong design skills with the ability to develop schematic concepts and refine them into detailed solutions. • Ability to prepare clear and compelling architectural renderings. • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients, contractors, and consultants. • Strong coordination skills to work closely with engineers and other project team members. • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. • Familiarity with permitting processes and working with regulatory agencies. • Ability to support construction administration, including reviewing submittals and responding to contractor inquiries. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Proficiency in SketchUp (preferred) for 3D modeling and visualization. • Experience working on commercial, healthcare, or industrial construction projects. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across projects in different phases. • Interest in professional growth and long-term career development within an architectural practice. Work EnvironmentThis position is based in the Louisville office of a full-service architectural firm with additional offices in Lexington, Atlanta, and San Francisco. The firm provides architectural and interior design services for commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects and is currently active in more than 20 states across the United States. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
