Job Title: Lab Technician Our client is seeking a Lab Technician to join their laboratory team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on lab work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and organization throughout the testing process. The technician will play a key role in handling incoming samples, preparing materials for analysis, and supporting daily laboratory operations.Key Responsibilities
• Retrieve incoming samples and prepare them for testing and analysis. • Perform a variety of sample preparation activities, including: • Aliquoting samples • Sample spiking and tracing • Preparing reagents and solutions • Bottling samples • Preparing concentrations and dilutions • Sample separation and sonication • Liquid rack setup
• Review and resolve sample discrepancies to ensure accurate labeling and traceability. • Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records, including test results, sample tracking documents, bench sheets, and logbooks. • Clean and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment. • Monitor, organize, and replenish laboratory supplies and inventory. • Support general laboratory housekeeping and maintenance activities. • Follow established SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures. • Assist with additional laboratory projects and operational needs as required. Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required. • 0-2 years of laboratory experience preferred. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Familiarity with laboratory techniques, equipment, and testing methods. • Ability to accurately document, analyze, and record laboratory data. • 32 hours per week • Monday: 11:30 AM start, 8-hour shift • Tuesday-Friday: 11:30 AM start, 6+ hour shifts 100% onsite laboratory environmentJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Exeter, NH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
