About this role

Manufacturing Engineer We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who is passionate about improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and bringing innovative solutions to production challenges. In this role, you'll partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to optimize manufacturing processes, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys balancing hands-on manufacturing floor support with process development, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. • Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes and equipment. • Identify and implement solutions that improve yield, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). • Support equipment selection, installation, qualification, and validation activities. • Partner with Design Engineering to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and scalability. • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions. • Analyze process performance data and use SPC tools to drive process improvements. • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process specifications. • Train production teams on new processes, equipment, and best practices. • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to support equipment and process improvements. • Support engineering change activities and continuous improvement projects. Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline. • 2+ years of manufacturing, process, industrial, quality, or production engineering experience. • Experience improving manufacturing processes in a regulated or high-volume production environment. • Knowledge of root cause analysis, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Medical device manufacturing experience. • Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities. • Experience conducting PFMEA or DFMEA. • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC). • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) projects. • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools. • Experience with automation, equipment qualification, or process development. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
