Role Overview: The Corporate Cyber Mission Support (CMS) Team Lead is a senior leader responsible for guiding, developing, and enabling Corporate Cybersecurity & Compliance Leaders (CCLs). Reporting directly to the Corporate CISO, this role ensures the CMS organization delivers consistent, business-aligned, and risk-driven outcomes that strengthen cybersecurity posture, compliance readiness, operational resilience, and mission assurance across the enterprise. The CMS Team Leader, as a Deputy to the Corporate CISO, Lead shapes the strategic direction, performance, governance, and cohesion of the CCL function—ensuring CCLs operate as a unified, high-performing organization while supporting business environments. The role blends leadership, coaching, governance, risk integration, and cross-functional coordination to elevate cybersecurity across all business domains. What You Will Do:
• Lead and develop the Cybersecurity & Compliance Leader (CCL) organization. • Translate enterprise cybersecurity strategy and compliance requirements into business action. • Partner with Engineering, DT, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to integrate cybersecurity across the enterprise. • Oversee cyber risk governance, reporting, KPIs, and executive visibility. • Drive consistency and continuous improvement across the CCL operating model. • Advise the CISO on enterprise cyber risk, emerging threats, and executive priorities. Qualifications You Must Have:
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 14 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 12 years experience. • 12+ years experience in cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF/800-171, CIS, ISO 27001), risk governance, and regulatory requirements in regulated industries. • 10+ years leading senior-level professionals and driving alignment across teams. The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
