About this role
The successful candidate will play a key role within the Global Banking & Markets Onboarding (GBMO) team, supporting the delivery of business objectives across the UK and Ireland. The role is responsible for ensuring that onboarding and client refresh activities are completed in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational standards. As part of the Quality Control function, the individual will conduct detailed reviews of new client onboarding and periodic refresh processes to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and internal requirements. This includes oversight of Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF), Sanctions screening, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. The role also supports adherence to key regulatory obligations where applicable, including EMIR, Dodd-Frank, Canadian Derivatives regulations, FATCA, Common Reporting Standard (CRS), and FCA Client Categorisation requirements. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a robust control environment, driving quality standards, and mitigating regulatory and operational risks across the client lifecycle.
