The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting product quality inspection at supplier facilities, ensuring compliance with internal standards and procedures. This role performs routine on-site inspections, maintains accurate inspection records, delivers reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers. The Quality Inspector collaborates with supplier quality teams and internal stakeholders to identify, track and support on resolving quality issues, while ensuring the supplier’s work environment remains safe, clean and compliant with regulatory requirements.
________________________________________ Key Responsibilities
1. Demonstrate commitment to EHS, and implement EHS policies, procedures and legislative requirement. 2. Demonstrate commitment to quality and implement quality management system and its related requirements. 3. Conduct quality inspections on the semi-finished products of the rods after heat treatment strictly in accordance with the company's relevant regulations. The inspection items include straightness testing, runout testing, surface hardness testing, and visual inspection. Additionally, supervise the packing quality of the rods and the spray coating quality of the rods/bits, and maintain relevant quality inspection records. The daily deliver quantity requirements must also be met (primarily the delivery quantity for straightness/runout testing of the rods). 4. For processes involving Jiawei, such as painting, oiling, and packaging, if any quality issues are identified, immediately notify Jiawei's quality personnel verbally and promptly seek their support to track the resolution of the quality issues until they are resolved. 5. For processes are not Jiaway’s such as incoming inspection of semi-finished rods after heat treatment, if quality issues are identified, promptly report to our BLW company's quality engineer or quality control supervisor and obtain reasonable quality handling instructions. Be responsible for non-conforming products marking, returning, reworking and reconfirming until qualified products are obtained. 6. Be responsible for any missed or incorrect inspections. 7. In accordance with the company's quality system requirements, be responsible for the safekeeping of relevant documents and tools, as well as the organization and archiving of quality records. 8. Daily report includes daily on-site inspection data, and summary of nonconformities. 9. All other reasonable duties as assigned ________________________________________ Key Skills & Competencies
1. Quality Inspection Knowledge: Ability to perform detailed inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies. Including size inspection, functional inspection, and appearance inspection. 2. Use of Quality Tools: Measuring tools (deflectometer, dial gauge). Familiar with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools. 3. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in recording and reporting inspection results. 4. Communication: Clear and timely communication of quality issues to relevant departments. 5. This position is permanently stationed outside the company and requires strong self-management and ability to handle unexpected situations independently.

• Education: Technical school graduate or higher • Experience: At least 3 years of quality inspection experience in the mechanical manufacturing industry.
