Configuration Control Rep IV

Job Description: As a Configuration Control Rep IV you will: • Work within EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management) to access drawings and other production documentation • Review and interpret Oracle discrete drawing lists to retrieve required documentation • Be responsible for accurately compiling work order shop packs with required drawings & documents per configuration sheet requirements • Assemblage or Work Order Packets, IPBs and Drawing Packages for Guns. • Process required updates work order packets • Control Work Center Documents on the shop floor & Master configuration spreadsheet • Follow Business Management System procedures and participate in regular reviews • Work closely with Bill of Material Planners, Manufacturing Engineering and Material Planners to support production configuration requirements • Assist with the integration of activities of all functions in the contract, ensuring that they flow smoothly together to achieve the objective results • Perform monthly work center-controlled documentation audits • Clearly communicate issues and resolutions to project management in both written and verbal means • Assisting with the responsibilities for contract deliverables related to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) • Understand the impacts of schedule issues to not only the program and scheduling but impacts to internal financial projects • Support the staff in preparing to pass all internal and external customer audits • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies

Required Skills and Education: Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School Diploma • 3 years of experience or equivalent experience. • Ability to follow procedures. • Knowledge of reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings and technical documents. • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Good interpersonal skills to coordinate and communicate with Integrated Product Team leaders, program management, and customer representatives. • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to internal and external customers/management. • Ability to learn overall program life cycle activities and how they relate to the integrated master schedule and the claiming of earned value. • Ability to function with direct guidance and achieve job objectives with a degree of independence.

Preferred Skills and Education: Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Previous technical knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite and EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management) is preferred. • Knowledge and understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning)
