Job Description: BAE Systems is searching for an Identity & Access Management Developer. This position will be located at our Falls Church, VA office. This is a hands-on technical role for a entry-level developer interested in working in the field of identity & access management. The candidate will manage and develop tools and processes to extend BAE’s Enterprise Identity Management software to connect to internal and external applications and to develop workflows used to request access to these applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining an IAM system, working on projects to extend the IAM system to new applications. The candidate will be supporting a global program as part of an experienced team of engineers and developers and will be called on to work incident tickets and participate in on-call rotation along with the rest of the team. Strong customer service and advocacy skills are paramount in this role.

Required Skills and Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an Engineering discipline; OR equivalent work experience • Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows operating platforms • Hands-on experience with web server infrastructure (Tomcat, JBoss, IIS) • Hands-on experience with one or more IAM provisioning / deprovisioning solutions • Ability to work with various technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, PKI, MFA/certificate management and abstract what layer you are in via a connected system • Ability to code with Java, ECMAScript (JavaScript/JScript), and XML • Working knowledge of web services integration with SOAP/REST and APIs • Working knowledge of identity & access management technology and processes • Working knowledge of provisioning to cloud/SaaS applications • Understanding of version control and how to manage products • Understanding of the overall design and management of a holistic IAM system • Understanding of how applications use identities and entitlements to enable access • Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues facing an organization like BAE Systems and where IAM fits into solving those challenges

Preferred Skills and Education: • Ability to code with additional languages/scripts/shells such as Python, Powershell, Linux • Ability to run meetings and communicate with levels of personnel from executives, to business stakeholders, to hands-on technologists • Hands-on experience with one or more IAM vendor suites or solutions • Hands-on experience developing APIs • Working Knowledge of ServiceNow • Working Knowledge of Splunk • Understanding of Agile / Scrum IT methodology • Be an eager study when it comes to new technology and emerging trends
