Gateway Regional School District is seeking a 2nd Shift Security Monitor Gateway Regional School QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma Required
• College degree, certification, and prior security experience preferred.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitors the entrances to the Gateway Regional School complex.
• Greets and welcomes all arriving visitors, ensuring that entry protocols are communicated clearly, firmly, and kindly.
• Ensures that all visitors properly sign in upon entering and sign out prior to leaving the complex.
• Directs all visitors to appropriate locations within the complex.
• Monitors parking lot for appropriate activities.
• Records properly all required data with respect to building visits.
• Reports problems associated with building security and/or visitations to designated administrators and law enforcement officials, as necessary.
• Reports any problems with behavior or activities to designated administrators.
• Ensures all entrances are appropriately secured Gateway Regional School Complex and at Littleville Elementary School.
• Accepts deliveries and communicates to recipients about mail and packages received.
• Supports school administrators with requests related to student location and reviews security tapes as requested to provide appropriate administrators video footage that is needed.
• Completes other duties, coverage, and assignments as designated by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
SALARY: The hourly rate of pay for this position is $22.00 per hour. The hours for this position are 12:45 pm - 8:00 pm during the School Year.
