Pottsgrove Athletics is seeking a qualified, dedicated, and high-energy 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach. The coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of the middle school program, including team management, player development, supervision, and fostering a competitive, sportsmanship-driven environment aligned with Pottsgrove's athletic values. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the middle school girls basketball, including practice planning, game strategy, and communication.
• Maintain strict adherence to all rules, policies, and guidelines established by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC).
• Foster student-athlete academic success, sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership on and off the court.
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director regarding facility use, transportation, and equipment inventory.
Qualifications
• Required: Minimum of (3) years of experience coaching basketball.
• Required: Comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules, eligibility criteria, and Pioneer Athletic Conference guidelines.
• Preferred: Prior experience coaching interscholasitc sports.
• Preferred: Prior experience participating in interscholastic sports.
