Primary Purpose Direct and oversee district PEIMS operations to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely TEA reporting. Lead the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program, managing all data, reporting, and compliance requirements. Qualifications Education/Certification • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required • TASBO Certification preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Knowledge of TEA PEIMS requirements, PEIMS Data Standards, and state and federal reporting requirements • Knowledge of student information systems, data management, coding, and reporting processes • Knowledge of data validation, accountability measures, and compliance requirements • Knowledge of TIA requirements, designation processes, data submissions, and compliance requirements • Ability to analyze teacher performance, student growth, and other data used in TIA processes • Ability to develop procedures, provide training, and communicate technical requirements effectively • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Experience • 3 or more years of experience in PEIMS, student information systems, data reporting, accountability, business services, or a related area; experience with Ascender preferred • Experience with Texas public school district data and TEA reporting requirements preferred • Experience with TIA local designation systems, managing data collection, TEA system compliance, and annual Texas Tech data validation preferred • Campus and/or central office leadership experience preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties PEIMS, Data, Compliance, and TIA 1. Direct district PEIMS reporting, including data collection, validation, submission, and correction in accordance with TEA requirements. 2. Monitor PEIMS timelines, data quality, PEIMS Data Standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate and compliant reporting. 3. Analyze and audit data affecting PEIMS, accountability, and other state reporting requirements and provide reports to support district decision-making. 4. Serve as the district liaison with TEA and ESC and coordinate reporting, audit, and compliance responses. 5. Oversee the district's Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program, including implementation of the local designation system, data collection and validation, teacher designation processes, required reporting, compliance, documentation, and coordination of allotment payments. Leadership, Planning, and Systems 6. Provide districtwide leadership for PEIMS and data management and coordinate activities across campuses and departments. 7. Provide training and technical support and use PEIMS data to support planning, accountability, and continuous improvement. 8. Collaborate with technology personnel to improve data systems, reporting processes, and PEIMS efficiency. 9. Supervise assigned personnel, maintain required records and confidentiality, provide status updates to the Deputy Superintendent, and perform other duties as assigned.
