How you will contribute to SLM’s vision
We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our Thessaloniki Hub (our second largest hub in Greece), focusing exclusively on our drivers and warehouse operations teams.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the people who keep our last-mile network running every day.
What you will be doing
Serve as the primary HR contact for drivers and warehouse employees at the Thessaloniki HubEnsure compliance with current Greek labor law, HR regulations, and internal policiesSupport daily HR operations including contracts, attendance, scheduling alignment, and workforce changesCollaborate closely with hub manager to address staffing and workforce needsSupport recruitment and onboarding processes for drivers and warehouse staffSupport performance management processesAct as a bridge between HQ HR and the Thessaloniki Hub workforceRequirements
Your Skills & Experience Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field2+ years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations, or similar rolePrior experience in logistics, or operational environments is highly preferredGood knowledge of Greek labor legislation and the ERGANI systemExperience supporting blue-collar or shift-based workforces is a strong plus Skills
Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and operational HR practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust on the groundStrong problem-solving mindset and ability to act quickly in dynamic environmentsHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalismStrong organizational skills and attention to detailHands-on mentality with a proactive, field-oriented approachAbility to balance employee needs with operational requirementsBenefits
