Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IND Staff Engineer, Reliability to join our team at Hartford Global Services Private Limited. This role will be crucial in ensuring the robustness and dependability of our systems and products, focusing on preventing failures and optimizing performance.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Lead and execute reliability engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance. * Develop and implement reliability test plans, including stress testing, accelerated life testing, and environmental testing. * Conduct failure analysis (FA) on complex systems and components, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. * Utilize statistical analysis techniques to interpret reliability data, predict performance, and identify trends. * Collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to integrate reliability best practices into product development. * Establish and maintain reliability metrics and reporting mechanisms to track product performance and identify areas for improvement. * Participate in design reviews, FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System) processes. * Develop and deliver training on reliability principles and methodologies to internal teams. * Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in reliability engineering.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. * 8+ years of experience in reliability engineering within a relevant industry. * Proven expertise in reliability methodologies such as FMEA, FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), Weibull analysis, and HALT/HASS. * Strong understanding of statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., JMP, Minitab, R). * Experience with various failure analysis techniques (e.g., microscopy, spectroscopy, electrical testing). * Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations related to product reliability. * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently. * Certifications in Reliability Engineering (e.g., CRE) are a plus.
