Organization: SEMC - Sutter Eden Medical Center Position Overview: Plans, manages and coordinates the professional nursing care delivered to medical-surgical/telemetry patients; provides specialized care and treatment; directs and supervises the ancillary nursing personnel; works in collaboration with all members of the health team; maintains standards of professional nursing practice. • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Required
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of two years of recent Step-Down and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required.
LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS
• Registered Nurse - State Licensure - RN Required • Basic Life Support Certification - BLS Required • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS Required • HIHSS Stroke Certification SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Demonstrates working knowledge of patient care techniques, medications, treatments and general health care procedures • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing priorities. • Ability to: • provide basic patient care to a diverse patient population • read/interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations • write legibly and effectively present ideas, document activities • demonstrate leadership abilities • deal with problems involving several variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Pay Range is $81.26 to $109.95 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
