What You Will Do
• Lead purchasing teams to execute strategic and tactical procurement activities that support supply continuity, inventory targets, and manufacturing requirements. • Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including supplier performance, purchase order execution, inventory health, and service levels. • Facilitate participation in operational reviews and provide timely updates on purchase order status, supply risks, and recovery plans. • Drive cross-functional improvement initiatives to resolve process gaps, increase efficiency, and support standardization across purchasing operations. • Partner with internal stakeholders to align purchasing priorities, business objectives, and operational requirements. • Guide supplier escalation management and oversee actions that mitigate supply, inventory, and operational risks. • Develop team capability by setting performance objectives, conducting talent reviews, and creating development plans for managers and buyers. • Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements and support internal and external audits.
What You Will Need Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Manufacturing, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience leading people managers, purchasing teams, or supply chain teams. • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English. • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. • Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements applicable to regulated manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in medical technology, medical device, or regulated manufacturing sourcing and procurement. • Experience managing supplier agreements, commercial contracts, or vendor relationship programs.
