Role Summary As a Senior Talent Management Specialist, you will play a key role in providing hands-on support for people operations and employee relations in Kenya, ensuring consistent application of policies, processes, and employment practices. You will work closely with the larger Global Talent Team and Finance Team to ensure fair and objective case management, provide operational HR support, and ensure compliance, while partnering closely with the Head of Talent for escalations and complex matters. Requirements
Must Have skills (required).
Employee Relations Expertise: Proven experience handling disciplinary cases, investigations, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and workplace grievances with fairness and consistency.Knowledge of Kenyan Labour Law: Strong working knowledge of the Employment Act, 2007 and ability to apply it in real workplace scenarios.Stakeholder Management: Ability to advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and policy interpretation.Investigation & Analytical Skills: Skilled in gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and preparing clear, well-structured reports.Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle sensitive and high-stakes conversations professionally.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation, record-keeping, and compliance tracking.Integrity & Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.Technical Proficiency: Proficient with G-Suite and HRIS platforms; demonstrated success in process automation and navigating emerging technologies.AI Literacy: Familiarity with LLMs, conversational AI, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts to help modernize HR workflows.Mindset: Forward-thinking, curious, and confident in a fast-paced environment. You should be someone who uses their own initiative to drive practical execution. Academic and Professional Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field requiredCHRP(K) certification5–8+ years in HR, with at least 3 years focused on Employee Relations or HR Operations Nice To Have skills (Preferred)
Experience in a global or matrix organizationFamiliarity with HR systems Exposure to performance management and employee engagement initiativesBenefits
