About this role
[What the role is] The Enterprise Knowledge Department partners other MAS departments to manage MAS' knowledge assets, by formulating and implementing information and data governance policy.
We are seeking a Knowledge Management Officer to support MAS' transition to Whole-of-Government collaboration platforms and related knowledge management initiatives. The role will work with business and technology stakeholders to improve how organisational knowledge is organised, shared and reused across MAS. [What you will be working on]
• Support activities relating to the migration of information and content to Whole-of-Government collaboration platforms.
• Guide and support departments in the usage, adoption, governance, setup and management of collaboration sites, including site ownership, permissions, information organisation and content lifecycle management.
• Develop and implement knowledge management initiatives that improve the capture, organisation, sharing and reuse of organisational knowledge.
• Work with stakeholders to review and improve knowledge management processes, guidance and practices.
• Assist in knowledge capture, transfer and information organisation activities to improve knowledge accessibility and reuse.
• Support communications, training and user engagement activities to encourage the adoption of new knowledge management tools and ways of working.
• Gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives.
[What we are looking for]
• Relevant qualifications in knowledge management, information management, information systems, business administration or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in knowledge management, information management, change management, content management or a related field.
• Experience supporting projects involving knowledge sharing, collaboration, content management or user adoption
• Familiarity with collaboration and productivity platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365, SharePoint or similar solutions) is preferred but not essential
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments..
This is a 1-year contract. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
