Job Summary Leads interior design specifications and design team efforts. Responsible for space planning clinical/non-clinical spaces, specifying finishes, furnishings, artwork, and accessories, and managing moves for assigned projects. Works with project managers, third-party vendors and other internal departments to coordinate efforts by preparing specifications, estimates, bids, scheduling installs, and ensuring adherence to standards. Performs field reviews for accuracy and compliance.
Essential Functions

• Leads the specification and standards of all finishes, furnishings, artwork, and accessories.
• Develops design direction to support strategic planning goals.
• Leads the execution of moves and procurement of furniture, art, signage, and finishes on all larger projects of a more complex nature.
• Assists in review of all projects for adherence to standards and guidelines Functions as a Prisma Health Facilities Department representative with third party vendors.
• Supports administrative space planning efforts focusing on office space standards and a reduction of leased square footage.
• Provides oversight of RFP processes and vendor management for design and move team.
• Maintains a consistent and high focus towards providing excellent customer service for all efforts. Performs in a high paced environment, while multi-tasking, and balancing competing priorities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
• Education - Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Experience - Six (6) years of commercial interior design and space planning
In Lieu Of
• In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, a Bachelors degree in "other" field and eight (8) years of experience in move coordination and logistics, healthcare interior design, and space planning or a High School Diploma or equivalent with ten (10) years of experience in move coordination and logistics, healthcare interior design, and space planning
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
• NCIDQ certification preferred; membership in IIDA or ASID preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficient in Adobe
• Ability to read and work with architectural drawings in both renovations and new construction
• Knowledge of furniture systems and building codes
• Drafting ability using CAD, Revit preferred
• Ability to communicate technical points with internal and external consultants and end-users.
