Corporate Development Manager Interpath Cape Town, South Africa (Full-time, aligned to UK hours)

This role sits within our global Corporate Development function, supporting Interpath’s ambitious growth strategy across multiple geographies and service lines. You will work closely with UK-based leadership while operating from South Africa, playing a key role in driving both inorganic growth (M&A and acquisitions) and talent-led expansion. This is a high-impact position offering exposure to Board-level decision-making in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment. Responsibilities:
Lead financial modelling for acquisitions, including valuation analysis and sensitivity testing Manage financial and commercial due diligence workstreams, including review and challenge of QoE findings Prepare high-quality Investment Committee and Board materials Support negotiation analysis (completion accounts, earn-outs, deferred consideration) Coordinate external advisors and internal stakeholders across multiple transactions Build and own economic models for senior hires and team build scenarios Assess revenue sustainability, pipeline quality and ramp-up risks for talent-led growth Support structuring of compensation and incentive frameworks Lead market research, competitor mapping and identification of acquisition targets Maintain and prioritise pipeline tracking across M&A and talent opportunities Support integration planning and track performance against investment cases post-deal Inclusion at Interpath We exist to help our clients seize transformational opportunities or to navigate their most difficult challenges, and so we need to draw on the brightest minds from the broadest range of backgrounds to bring the most insightful perspectives.

Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
5–8 years’ experience in Corporate Development, M&A advisory, investment banking, or strategy consulting with transaction exposure.Financial modelling experience in a dynamic environment i.e. comfortable tailoring models to meet business need, with strong ability to synthesise complex data into clear commercial insights.Strong PowerPoint skills with IC and Board level quality output and high attention to detail.Demonstrates commitment to self-development, with intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to independent learning, showing genuine interest in understanding the broader strategic context and implications of their analysis.Experience business partnering and presenting to senior stakeholders at Manager level.Strong understanding of accounting, working capital and deal mechanics, with experience reviewing and challenging diligence outputs.Advanced PowerPoint capability with experience producing Investment Committee and Board-level materials.Experience with PowerBI is advantageous.Exposure to professional services businesses is preferred, and additional European language skills such as German or French are beneficial but not essential.Benefits
