 Summary: Presbyterian Medical Group's Gastroenterology Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient care team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and clinical support to patients receiving specialized digestive health services. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and care managers, you will help ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

 Responsibilities:

*Administer prescribed medications and treatments, as ordered by provider/Standard of Care Protocol. *Provides patient care in the ambulatory care setting according to established standards in collaboration with Providers, Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants as members of the care team. *Provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting with treatments and procedures. *Participates on interdisciplinary team to meet patient care and clinic needs, working cooperatively with others to accomplish required work in a timely and efficient manner. *Assists providers with procedures. *Assists with patient education, within scope of practice by Standard of Care-Education Protocol. *Assist with management, in collaboration with Clinical Manager. *Documents in electronic medical record within scope of practice. *Assists in screening of patients, in collaboration with Care Manager. *Assists Certified Medical Assistants with patient preparation/rooming patients, as directed by visit plan. *Maintains established practice policies and procedures, objectives, quality program, safety, environment, and infection control standards.
