Credence has an immediate opening for a Computer Scientist to provide technical, analytical, and programming support in direct support of mission operations within the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC). This role supports operations, engineering, scientific, and analytical efforts across classified environments, contributing to data-driven decision-making, system development, and mission execution. The position operates within secure government facilities and networks and collaborates closely with Government stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and mission partners.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Provide technical expertise across operations, engineering, scientific, and analytical domains in support of NSIC mission requirementsSupport data analysis, modeling, and computational efforts to enable informed operational planning and mission executionDevelop, modify, or support software programs, scripts, or analytical tools used in classified or sensitive environmentsApply computer science principles to support data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or analytical workloads, as required by mission needsAssist with the evaluation, integration, and application of technical solutions to support operational, policy, or planning objectivesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate mission requirements into technical or analytical solutionsSupport documentation, reporting, and communication of technical findings in formats specified by the GovernmentAdhere strictly to applicable security requirements, policies, and procedures governing classified systems and environmentsRequirements
Education, Requirements and Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance with current special access program (SAP) access desiredBachelor’s degree is requiredMinimum of five (5) years of experience in an operations, engineering, scientific, data science, software programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, analysis, policy or planning field or equivalent experience / responsibilityWork Environment
On-site support within secure Government facilitiesStandard duty hours are Monday–Friday during Government operating hours, with potential surge or off-hours support as required by mission needsWork involves handling classified information and systems, requiring strict adherence to security policiesBenefits
