Job Description Join Nine’s People Transformation team as a Workday Functional Analyst (6-month contract) reporting to the Head of People Systems. In this role, you’ll support the Workday integration of a major new business acquisition into Nine’s platform. Partnering with cross-functional leaders, you will directly shape Nine's digital-first future by streamlining systems, standardising processes, and ensuring smooth platform stabilisation.
Day to day you will:
• Support the end-to-end configuration, testing, and deployment across core Workday modules.
• Serve as the Tier 2/3 escalation point to investigate and resolve complex ServiceNow tickets.
• Maintain business processes, security groups, and condition rules to meet evolving enterprise needs.
• Support system updates executed by the external AMS provider to ensure governance standards.
• Partner with P&C, Finance, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
What you'll bring:
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Workday configuration across core modules like HCM or Absence.
• Proven capability in managing end-to-end testing lifecycles and data conversions using EIBs.
• Strong technical knowledge of Workday security frameworks, business processes, and calculated fields.
• Analytical problem-solving skills to conduct root-cause analysis and build sustainable fixes.
• High level of autonomy with the confidence to manage your workload and configuration decisions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners.
