The Multimedia Journalist Reporter produces, reports, shoots, writes, voices, edits and feeds news production content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers.
KSNT-TV/KTMJ-TV is looking for a Multimedia Journalist to produce daily news content across all broadcast and digital platforms that is clear, engaging, and meaningful to local audiences

Responsibilities
• Report, shoot, write, and edit compelling news stories for television, digital, streaming, social, and mobile platforms. • Pitch new stories daily, demonstrating solid news judgment and the ability to identify and develop stories that matter to local audiences. • Collaborate with other newsroom staff to develop impactful coverage plans. • Build and maintain relationships with sources, public officials, and community members. • Research and analyze background information related to news stories to provide complete and accurate reports. • Review copy and correct errors in content, grammar and punctuation, following prescribed editorial style and formatting guidelines. • Ensure all news content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality. • Report live from the field, oftentimes requiring ad-libbing during breaking news situations. • Participate in promotional activities including public appearances and community volunteer opportunities. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. • Fluency in English. • Experience using broadcast camera equipment and editing software. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments and meeting tight deadlines. • Valid driver's license with a good driving record. • Flexibility to work any shift.
