Lead Aide Caregiver – Preferred STNA but not required Full Time, M-F 8-5 may require some weekends First Community Village Columbus, OH
National Church Residences Community Wellness is located in Columbus, Ohio. We are owned and operated by National Church Residences, the nation's largest provider of affordable senior housing and health care services.
We're looking for a compassionate Lead Aide to guide our care team and provide hands-on support to the seniors we serve. This role is a great fit for an experienced caregiver ready to step into a leadership position — with the opportunity to mentor staff, coordinate daily care, and make a direct impact on residents' quality of life.

What You'll Do
• Lead and mentor: Serve as shift lead — guiding care staff, coordinating assignments, and covering staffing gaps by adjusting duties or stepping in to provide direct care when needed.
• Provide direct care: Assist residents with daily living needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and mobility (lifting, turning, positioning, transporting).
• Support clinical staff: Take vitals, record weights, prepare rooms, and assist with resident and staff onboarding.
• Communicate and document: Report changes in residents' condition promptly; keep accurate, timely records in our electronic medical record system.
• Support meals: Help residents prepare for and enjoy meals, assist with eating, and track dietary intake.
• Uphold safety and dignity: Follow infection control protocols, safety procedures, and resident rights policies at all times.
What You'll Need
• High school diploma or GED
• STNA certification preferred, not required (ask us about certification support!)
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• A caring, dependable, team-oriented attitude
