Job Summary: Responsible for the creation of electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations throughout all phases of project design under close supervision. Assists with basic electrical drafting and modeling tasks while learning industry standards, codes, and design practices. Collaborates with engineers, modelers, and detailers to produce coordinated design documentation and support project delivery. Gains exposure to construction administration activities and real-world project execution.
Key Responsibilities: Assists in the production of electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations with clearly defined tasks under supervision. Supports development of basic electrical layouts and documentation using fundamental electrical concepts and guidance from team members. Assists with simple electrical calculations, drafting, and model updates as directed. Supports construction administration activities, including shop drawing reviews and RFI support, as assigned. Uses basic CAD and modeling tools to create 2D drawings and assist with 3D electrical models. Collaborates with engineers, modelers, and detailers to support coordinated project delivery. Participates in learning opportunities to develop understanding of electrical design standards, codes, and workflows.
Education Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field required.
Certifications and Licenses: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification intent preferred. Anticipated starting pay range: $29.00- $46.00Nothing is more important than your health and wellness.
