About this role
Responsibilities:
• Perform millwright duties including the repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and tools. • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine and verify work procedures. • Provide troubleshooting support to maintenance personnel on electrical systems, PLC programming, and other technical issues as required. • Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts for overhaul, maintenance, or machinery setup. • Complete all required documentation including work orders, time sheets, logbook entries, and line book revisions in a timely manner. • Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives on the production line. • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all assembly equipment. • Recommend critical spare parts requirements to support equipment reliability. • Participate actively in preventative maintenance programs and downtime reduction efforts. • Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency and reduce operational costs. • Prepare reports outlining issues encountered during shifts and other relevant updates. • Ensure clean, safe, and organized working conditions at all times. • Demonstrate professionalism in maintaining work area cleanliness and organization. • Comply with TS16949 and ISO14001 standards and requirements. • Follow all departmental procedures and company policies. • Adhere to all company health and safety regulations. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:
• Hold a valid 433A license (mandatory). • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field. • Must be a licensed Millwright, Industrial Mechanic or equivalent. • Extensive experience with Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and mechanical systems and tools. • Machine Shop and MIG/TIG Welding experience an asset. • Electrical trouble shooting capabilities required.
