Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.

The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of NYS Physical Therapy Practice Act and Hospital policy.
Provides daily clinical supervision to P.T.A.'s, Rehabilitation Aides and students. Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.
.Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy Required
Masters Degree Preferred
New York State license and current registration or a limited permit for a recent graduate
Knowledge of General Therapeutic Equipment
General computer literacy
This position offers the option of a 4 or 5 day workweek:
Tuesday thru Saturday - 10am - 6pm ( 5 day workweek) Tuesday - Saturday - 8am- -6pm (4 day workweek) -days worked depend on need of department and seniority

Base hourly rate is $53,8624 , plus experience differential if applicable
