About this role
We’re looking for a full-time RVN to join our friendly and experienced team at Thorpe Bay Shoebury Road.Located in the lovely Thorpe Bay area of Southend-on-Sea, our practice is part of a friendly local community and offers a great working environment with plenty of variety.
You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of experienced RVNs, CCAs and vets, with a varied and interesting caseload. The role offers opportunities to develop your nursing skills across theatre, diagnostics and nurse consultations, with a good balance of clinical variety.
The role includes a 1:6 weekend rota, supporting our 24-hour hospital in Southend, with minimal bank holiday and on-call rotation. About you You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing Typically, in this role, you’ll:
• Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges • Deliver exceptional care to your clients • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
