Job Description:
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Mars you will partner closely with the Senior Sourcing Manager and Buyers to drive development & implementation of sub-category buying strategies and co-pilot optimization of resources. You’ll manage both regional and global initiatives by leveraging supplier relationships, while also driving standardization and automation. Ownership of sub-category spend on a global basis will be key, as will heavy x-functional collaboration and close partnership with key stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
3 years of procurement experience. A passion for developing strong relationships with supplier and cross functional stakeholders both domestically and internationally. Bachelors degree at a minimum.
What will be your key responsibilities? You will recommend and implement supply base strategy, including assessing and developing suppliers. Benchmarking, leading RFP activity and driving the qualification/implantation of new suppliers. You will also manage supplier governance, including supplier performance auditing. Direct oversight of ($100m) in spend.
