Oracle SCM Functional Consultant1Key Responsibilities
• Solution Architecture & Business Analysis:
• Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to capture end-to-end supply chain requirements.
• Perform fit-gap analyses comparing current client business processes against standard Oracle SCM functionalities.
• Author critical functional artifacts including Requirement Specs, Solution Design Documents (SDD), Functional Specifications (MD50/DS140), and Configuration Workbooks.
• Module Setup & Configuration:
• Configure primary Oracle SCM modules across environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
• Lead end-to-end business flow configurations for Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Plan-to-Produce cycles.
• Lifecycle Implementation & Support:
• Drive key delivery milestones: Conference Room Pilots (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Coordinate data migration activities including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and conversion for items, suppliers, purchase orders, and inventory.
• Deliver end-user training, build user manuals, and guide business teams through change management.
• Provide post-go-live stabilization, hypercare, and ongoing functional support.
• Cross-Functional & Technical Collaboration:
• Work closely with technical teams to specify requirements for RICEFW / OIC objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
• Collaborate with Finance (AP/AR/GL), Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless cross-module integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Core Technical/Functional Experience:
• Experience: 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle SCM Functional Consultant.
• Project Track Record: Must have completed at least 2–3 full lifecycle implementations in Oracle Cloud SCM or Oracle EBS SCM.
• Module Expertise: Deep functional knowledge in at least 3–4 of the following SCM modules:
• Oracle Fusion Inventory Management
• Oracle Purchasing / Cloud Procurement
• Oracle Order Management & Advanced Pricing
• Product Information Management (PIM)
• Oracle Cost Management
• Oracle Supply Chain Planning / Demand Management (optional/plus)
• Reporting: Basic to intermediate hands-on experience with OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher reports.
• Soft Skills & Professional Attributes:
• Strong client-facing, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis capability.
• Ability to operate independently as a workstream lead with minimal supervision
