Boat Repair & Fibreglass Technician Wanted in Latchi, Cyprus!

The Latchi Watersports Group is looking for a skilled, reliable, and detail-focused Boat Repair & Fibreglass Technician to join our Marine Services Department in the beautiful coastal setting of Latchi, Cyprus!
The Craft Behind Our Fleet
This is a hands-on position working across our operational watersports fleet and customer boats. You will play an important role in keeping vessels safe, presentable and ready for the water.
The Fibreglass Specialist: Carry out high-quality fibreglass, GRP and gelcoat repairs, including cracks, impact damage, leaks and structural defects across hulls, decks, transoms and consoles.
The Boat Repairer: Assess damage, identify the underlying cause and plan an effective repair. You will confidently complete projects from initial preparation through to final inspection.
The Finisher: Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling and fairing, complete gelcoat colour matching, and polish repaired areas to achieve a clean, professional finish.
The Practical Problem-Solver: Remove and replace damaged fittings, fixtures and marine hardware, and assist with boat refurbishment, restoration and preventative maintenance projects.
The Team Player: Work closely with our marine mechanics and watersports teams, remaining flexible and helping the wider operation when required.
What We’re Looking For in Our Next Team Member
Experience: Previous professional experience completing fibreglass, GRP and gelcoat repairs on boats is essential.
Technical Ability: A good understanding of boat construction, common types of marine damage and the correct use of hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
Craftsmanship: Excellent attention to detail, patience and pride in producing durable repairs with a high-quality cosmetic finish.
Safety: A safe and organised approach to work, including the correct use of PPE and responsible handling of tools, resins, chemicals and waste materials.
The Right Attitude: Reliable, hardworking and able to manage several repair jobs while working both independently and as part of a busy team.
Additional Skills: Experience in boat building, marine carpentry, painting or spraying, upholstery, electrical work or mechanical maintenance would be an advantage.
