We are looking to recruit 3 housekeepers to work the following hours:
1 housekeeper working 3 days out of 7 on a variety of morning and afternoon shift working 20 hours a week 1 housekeeper working 3 days out of the 7 on a variety of morning and afternoon shift working 18.75 hours a week 1 housekeeper working 2 days out of the 7 working afternoon only shifts on a 12 hour a week contract
The housekeeper will enhance the patient's experience by ensuring that the clinical environment is presented and maintained in a way which maximises the patient's sense of comfort, safety and well-being.
The successful candidates will have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, with the ability to communicate effectively to patients, staff and visitors.
Main duties of the job
To ensure the environment is cleaned in line with national cleaning standards.
Deliver meal/beverage service Cleaning Ward Kitchen/Meal area Following meal ordering procedures Report maintenance issues
The housekeeper will enhance the patient's experience by ensuring that the clinical environment is presented and maintained in a way which maximises the patient's sense of comfort, safety and well-being.

Essential Essential
Good basic education (Ability to read and write and numerical skills)
Desirable
Relevant experience of working within a healthcare setting. Excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene including temperature control and HACCP. Cleaning experience
Qualifications Essential

Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification NVQ Level 2 British Institute of Cleaning Science in Domestic Services or equivalent Food Standards Agency Food Allergy and Intolerance Certificate
