Audio typing from digital dictation, photocopying, filing, answering the telephone, scanning, onward referrals and uploading to EPR. Support Medical Secretary service subject to service needs cross site at HRI/CRH.

Supporting the Medical Secretaries in Medicine, covering all admin functions including scanning, photo copying and answering the phones. You will also be processing large volumes of Audio typing from digital dictation all whilst working with nurses and consultants to deliver admin support (subject to service needs) and ensuring deadlines are met.
Person Specification
QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING Essential
English and Math GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) or equivalent or high level of literacy and numeracy skills demonstrated within application RSA II typing/word processing Audio typing Willing to undertake further development/training
Desirable
Understanding of Medical Terminology
Knowledge, experience & expertise Essential
Experience of working in a busy office environment (to deadlines and targets) Knowledge of software packages such as Word, Excel

Experience of working in an NHS environment Experience of working with Winscribe digital dictation Knowledge of EPR
Communication & relationships Essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
