We are delighted to offer a permanent, full-time/part-time opportunity for suitable candidates who are looking to start or further develop their skills and experience in Clinical Research.

Our research team comprises Research Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Research Governance staff and Research Administrators, who work collaboratively to ensure that research is embedded within patient care and that eligible patients are offered appropriate opportunities to participate in research.

Joining our team will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical research skills while working within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment committed to delivering high-quality research and improving patient care.

This post will provide clinical research administrative support in the coordination and delivery of trial-related procedures for patients participating in research, working closely with the wider research team.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities will include supporting data management activities, including the collection and uploading of research data, as well as assisting with the identification and resolution of data queries. You will work in accordance with current regulatory requirements, Trust policies and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

You will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the research process, from study set-up and recruitment through to study delivery and close-out. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will provide essential support across a range of research activities, helping to ensure that studies are delivered safely, effectively and to a high standard.

Qualifications

Educated to GCSE level in English, Math and IT. Pass at grade C or above (or equivalent experience)

Experience

Evidence of previous administrative experience Ability to demonstrate accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail in written documentation Ability to confidently communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary setting Previous experience of working within a team Ability to use a variety of computer software systems

Knowledge and Awareness
