Job summary

The opportunity has arisen for Specialist Public Health Dietitians to join our Bank and work with communities to support a range of community-based initiatives; utilising a range of agreed approaches to support positive changes to food, nutrition, and physical activity behaviours.

Main duties of the job

To provide evidence-based nutrition related education and accredited training to optimise the nutritional knowledge and skills of staff.

The post holder will work across the Cwm Taf University Health Board area as part of the Public Health Dietetic team, working in partnership with local Public Health, Health, Leisure, Education and community colleagues.

This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means being able to use Welsh in routine workplace situations, such as greeting customers, answering calls, responding to routine enquiries, providing information, arranging appointments and taking messages.
