Job summary
You will lead, manage and deliver a range of practice nursing services and be accountable for the nursing team on a day-to-day basis
You'll foster a learning environment, supporting the training and development of the nursing team
You'll lead on ensuring the nursing services are compliant with CQC and other regulatory authoritys requirements
You'll champion and lead quality improvement initiatives within the nursing service
The Unity Practice is run by Suffolk GP Federation CIC, a not-for-profit community interest company.
Main duties of the job
You'll need to be a registered nurse, with valid NMC registration and evidence of up-to-date practice
You'll need proven experience of working in primary care
You will need experience in managing a team.

Suffolk GP Federation CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company. Our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk including support with working collaboratively and at scale. We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk and North East Essex, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, Diabetes, as well as urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.

We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for a Lead Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality patient care whilst leading and supporting our dedicated primary care nursing team.
We're looking for someone with a passion for healthcare, strong general practice experience, and the ability to inspire and guide the team to excellence.

Contract
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday Friday based across the Unity sites: Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford. Travel between sites will be necessary.
