Working Pattern:

Barnet base site25.5 hours per week (part-time)Monday to Friday five days on site , between 09:30 - 17:00 (including a 30-minute unpaid break)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible Clinical Pathway Administrator to join the Nephrology and Renal team at Barnet Hospital ( base site ) on a 12-month maternity cover basis.

This role is key to supporting the delivery and coordination of Nephrology and Renal clinical pathways, ensuring efficient administrative processes and high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing comprehensive administrative support, managing patient referrals, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating communication across services.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and adaptable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential, along with a commitment to delivering patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will support patients throughout their care journey, acting as a single named point of contact to coordinate care effectively.

They will work as part of a team within a dedicated speciality/patient group to ensure that all administrative functions are delivered in line with specific care pathway requirements, from GP referral through to discharge, facilitating smooth and coordinated patient journey. Where patients have multiple clinical needs, the postholder will support pathway coordination to reduce duplication and minimise multiple appointments across services.
