About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Employment Solicitor to join our growing employment law team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload representing both employees and employers across various industries and employment matters. This role focuses on Claimant matters which offers the opportunity to make a real difference to employees facing workplace difficulties, representing them through challenging situations and fighting for their rights. As part of our Team, you will provide specialist legal support to clients navigating these complexities, ensuring they receive expert guidance tailored to their individual circumstances.

Key Responsibilities - Including but not limited to:

Case Management

Manage a varied caseload of employment matters from inception to conclusionDraft legal documents, policies, and correspondenceConduct legal research and provide commercially sound adviceConduct cases effectively and efficiently on behalf of clients in accordance with the Firm's policies and objectivesEnsure all work is carried out to the highest professional standardsMaintain efficient and cost-effective work practicesUtilise time recording systems and IT effectively Client Representation

Act for clients across the full spectrum of Employment Law matters, including:Disputes & GrievancesSettlement AgreementsRepresenting a broad range of clients including Teachers, Doctors, Nurses and other professionals in regulated sectorsAdvisoryTribunal Advocacy *Training can be provided by our knowledgeable Team of Employment Law experts on matters if necessary

Professional Development

Pro-actively contribute to the development and promotion of the Firm's high standards and reputationParticipate in business development and promotion of the Firm's Employmentlaw servicesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law and relevant Regulatory changes Collaboration

Work collaboratively with the Employment Law Team and other colleaguesLiaise with Partners on specific Firm-wide matters as requiredContribute to the team's collective expertise and knowledge sharing Essential Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Qualified Solicitor with current practicing certificate – 5 years PQE minimumProven experience of acting for clients in Employment law casesDemonstrable track record of successful case outcomes Skills & Competencies

Excellent negotiating experience and skillsOutstanding oral and written communication abilitiesStrong client care and relationship management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a specialist teamEfficient time management and organisational skills Professional Knowledge

Thorough understanding of the obligations of working as a Solicitor, including ethical obligationsKnowledge and proficient use of case management systems and IT Personal Attributes
