Your Mission Lead and develop HOERBIGER’s service operations across Brisbane, advancing service excellence, consistent standards and customer-focused execution . You will connect customer needs with operational delivery, strengthen local capability and empower the service team to deliver safe, high-quality and commercially sound outcomes. Shape a growing service function and help set the standard for rotating-equipment support across Australia. How you will make a difference Lead the Brisbane branch’s field service and workshop operations, delivering safe, efficient and high-quality service outcomes. Develop and coach technical professionals, building capability and fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. Drive operational excellence through effective job scheduling, resource allocation and workflow management. Build strong, long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and timely issue resolution. Resolve service-related escalations professionally, ensuring customer expectations are understood and addressed. Champion safety, quality and environmental compliance across all service activities. Improve systems, processes and service consistency through practical continuous-improvement initiatives. Support branch profitability by optimizing resources, improving service performance and delivering strong commercial outcomes. What you should be good at Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams in a technical service or industrial environment. Service operations: Experience managing field service and workshop activities with strong planning and organizational skills. Customer partnership: Ability to build trusted relationships and deliver consistently positive customer experience. Experience with Ariel compressors and Waukesha gas engines will be highly regarded Safety and quality: Strong safety leadership and commitment to quality, environmental and compliance standards. Problem-solving: A practical, improvement-focused mindset with the confidence to make sound operational decisions. Planning and prioritization: Ability to manage multiple service demands while maintaining quality and delivery standards. Communication: Clear stakeholder-management skills across customers, team members and cross-functional colleagues. Systems knowledge: Experience using service-management, ERP and scheduling systems to improve efficiency and performance. Technical background: Proven experience in mechanical service operations and a trade qualification in Fitting & Machining or an equivalent discipline. Industry exposure: Experience in compression technology and/or oil & gas or related industries will be highly regarded. Mobility: A current Australian Driver’s License and valid passport.
